XY (Nie Xiaoyu)

Graduated with a master's degree in animation from Coventry University, UK, and now lives in Shanghai. Her areas of work have expanded to installation art, independent illustration, graffiti, 3d modeling, sculpture, digital art, etc. It has a neo-natalism with elements of surrealism, dystopia, and satire, all made with intense color palettes. Her style can best be described as cyber-pop.

From March 2017 to November 2022, she was the head manager of the 624 Street independent brand, mainly responsible for theme formulation and creation of each season's products, and controlling the details of the design production process.

From January 2016 to November 2022, she set up a personal studio and collection “Welcome To The Future”. During this period, she worked with brands include: Levis, Nike, China's Li-Ning, Peacebird, Jaguar and other new emerging brands. Her work with brands included managing studio teams, confirming illustration themes, creating illustrations, recommending production techniques, etc. Levis in particular is a current long-term cooperative brand, and has been expanded to offline activities and workshops.Her representative work "HOW TO DREAM" was exhibited at the British Automobile Museum and was reported by many trend magazines such as "YOHO! GIRL", "Sise", and "Vogueme".

毕业于英国考文垂大学硕士学位，现居上海。涉及领域拓展至装置艺术、独立插画、空间营造、雕塑、数字艺术、街头涂鸦等。具有充满奇思妙想的新生主义，浓塑重彩。

工作经历

2017年3月-2022年11月，624街头独立品牌主理人，主要负责每一季产品的主题制定与创作，从设计到制作过程细节把控。

2016年1月-2022年11月，创办个人工作室欢迎来到未来。期间联名合作品牌包括：Levis、Nike、中国李宁、太平鸟、捷豹等一线年轻品牌。Levis属于长期合作品牌，合作内容拓展至线下活动及工作坊。

代表作《HOW TO DREAM》，在英国汽车博物馆展出，被《YOHO! GIRL》、《Sise》、《Vogueme》等多个潮流杂志报道。
